Most people hear the word adventure and think of the trips and travels in their life. I hear the word adventure and think of the whole of it. The experiences and undertakings. When I decided to shut down my old blog and start this new one, I was thinking of all of the adventures (this blog included) that would follow. The new cooking and baking adventures, my photography, the places Z and I would discover, and just the random adventures big and small that would come of our life.
I had grand thoughts of starting this new year off with a bang… I’ve already semi-committed myself to two different cookbook clubs and have goals in 2019 of being back in running shape (good thing there is an entire year to get there). All that said, I’ve also unfortunately started the new year with whatever horrible plague of a cold has struck the east coast. So for at least today, I’m going to continue to nurse my health with hot tea and a copious amount of OTC meds. Luckily, spending my time on the couch gives me plenty of time to read through the couple of cookbooks that I’m going to kick of the new year cooking through.
So, bear with me as I attempt to heal myself … but be on the lookout, I’ll hopefully have a post of something yummy from Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone by Deborah Madison up sometime in the next couple days. If not, well I may have just succumbed to this plague.
